Terms of business

Our clients

Our New Zealand clients are businesses: building designers, builders, developers, subcontractors, product suppliers and real estate agencies. Prices are in NZ dollars and exclude GST. As an Australian company, we do not add New Zealand GST to services we supply to New Zealand businesses.

Quotes and acceptance

A quote lists what we will deliver, the price and the date. We begin once you accept it by email.

The information you give us

Renders, drawings and quantities follow the plans and details you send. If those change or contain errors, the output will too, so review each draft and final file. Every take-off and estimate notes the assumptions behind it.

Who is responsible for what

3D Design Studios renders, drafts and measures. Building Code compliance, consent requirements, structural and weathertightness design, producer statements and site decisions stay with the client and their designers, engineers and licensed building practitioners.

Revisions

Each quote says which revisions are included. If the design changes after you approve a draft, we price the extra work before doing it.

Using what we produce

When the invoice is paid, the images and drawings are yours to use for that project. Unless you tell us otherwise, finished work may appear in our portfolio.
