Terms of business

Clients

In Canada we work with businesses: architects and designers, builders and contractors, developers, product manufacturers and real estate brokerages. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude GST/HST; as an Australian company, we do not charge GST/HST on the services we provide to Canadian businesses.

Quotes

A quote sets out the scope, the price and the delivery date. Work begins once you approve it in writing.

Drawings and information

Our renderings, drawings and quantities follow the information you provide, so errors or changes in it carry through. Please review every draft and final file; takeoffs and estimates state the assumptions behind them.

Professional responsibility

3D Design Studios supplies visualization, drafting and estimating services only. Building code compliance, permits and zoning, structural and envelope design, and site decisions remain with the client and their architects, engineers and qualified designers.

Changes

Each quote states the revisions included. Design changes after a draft is approved are priced before we carry them out.

Use of our work

Once paid in full, you may use the images and drawings for the project they were made for. We may include finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
