Takeoffs & estimating
Construction takeoff services
Measuring plans is the slowest part of bidding. Send us the plan set and the trades you need, and the measured quantities come back in a spreadsheet, with color mark-ups showing exactly what was counted, so you can price more jobs in the same week.
- Price
- From US$145 per project
- Turnaround
- 2 to 4 business days for most houses

Trades we measure
- Framing lumber, sheathing and engineered wood
- Siding, trim and soffit
- Roofing: shingles, underlayment, ridge and flashings
- Drywall, insulation and interior trim
- Concrete footings, flatwork and masonry
- Door, window and hardware counts
Checkable, not a black box
Every quantity comes with a marked-up PDF, colored by item, so your estimator can see what was measured and where. If you disagree with an assumption, you change that one line instead of starting again.
Homes and light commercial
Most of our takeoffs are for single-family homes, townhomes and small commercial buildings. For larger projects we quote after reviewing the set, and we tell you plainly if a job is outside what we do well.
Questions we are asked
Do you price the materials?
A takeoff is quantities only. If you want them priced, our construction estimating service applies your rates or the supplier prices you send.
What do you deliver?
An Excel spreadsheet with marked-up PDFs. We can also match the columns of your estimating template.
