Takeoffs & estimating
Siding takeoffs
Siding is easy to under-order and expensive to waste. We measure every elevation net of openings, count the trim, corners and accessories, and list the pieces in the lengths your product comes in, so the order is right the first time.
- Price
- From US$145 per project
- Turnaround
- 2 to 3 business days for most homes

Measured the way it goes up
Years inside a siding manufacturer's technical team taught our founder how siding is really installed: starter strips, exposure, laps at butt joints, corner treatments and the trim around every window. Our takeoffs follow the installation, not just the wall area.
Products we measure
- Fiber cement lap, shingle and panel siding
- Vinyl and insulated vinyl siding
- Engineered wood and composite siding
- Board and batten and vertical siding
- Soffit, fascia and trim packages
For contractors and lumberyards
Contractors use our siding takeoffs to bid, and suppliers use them to quote material packages quickly. Both get the same thing: quantities by elevation and item, with the waste allowance on its own line.
Questions we are asked
Do you allow for waste?
Yes, as a separate line you can see, so you can change it to suit your crew and the product.
Can you include house wrap and flashing?
Yes. Weather barrier, flashing tape and other accessories can be added from the same measurements.
