A building-industry studio that draws, renders and measures

3D Design Studios was founded in Sydney, Australia, in 2021, and has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. We produce photoreal CGIs, drawings, facade shop drawings and the take-offs that builders and suppliers need to price their work, for clients across the building industry.

Our founder, Anthony Milostic, spent more than 25 years in the building industry before starting the studio, over 17 of them at James Hardie, where he was a technical manager and wrote the ExoTec facade manual.

Our team comes from the building industry, including the cladding and facade sector, which is why our shop drawings and take-offs are drawn the way installers and estimators expect, and why our CGIs are built from the drawings rather than from guesswork.

Working with the UK

We work with UK clients entirely online. You send drawings at the end of your day; because Sydney is ahead of the UK, the work moves overnight, and drafts are often ready when your next day begins. We quote in pounds, agree a fixed price before starting, and communicate by email and video call.

What we are, and what we are not

We are a visualisation, drafting and estimating studio. We are not an architectural practice, a firm of chartered surveyors or a planning consultancy, and we do not submit planning or Building Regulations applications. We work for the people who do: designers, builders, developers, contractors and agents.
